I began visiting this dental office about three years ago. My first appointment went well—the dentist addressed my concern promptly and effectively. However, during subsequent visits, the dentist made repeated negative comments about my teeth while examining them, which felt unnecessary and uncomfortable.

During my cleanings, the hygienist’s technique was quite rough. At one point, when her instrument pressed into my gum and caused pain, I reacted physically. She responded by saying I had scared her and that I have sensitive teeth. I have never had issues with sensitivity before this experience, and it was difficult to feel at ease when my discomfort was framed as the problem.

At my most recent cleaning, she again mentioned that I have sensitive teeth and that I had frightened her during a prior visit. It’s concerning to feel blamed for reacting to pain during a procedure. Posted On: 02/17/2026 Worst experience ever!!! Would never recommend this place. I was trying to schedule a new patient appointment with them. You can never get someone on the phone and can only get a response through text messaging, which takes awhile. Unfortunately I had to cancel two appointments due to illness and work!! I only made two appointments in total ever and was told that I cancelled 4 appointments on the day of which is completely false. The only 1 appointment that was cancelled on day of is when I can down with pneumonia. I’m sure they did not want me to show up with pneumonia!! lol was rudely told they would not reschedule me…. Perfect, problem solved!! You did me a favor!! I will choose another dentist. There are plenty of better ones to choose from. I would avoid this place at all costs and don’t waste your time here!!! Posted On: 02/06/2026 Hi I came in today to have my lower dentures. Adjusted and lovely miss Amber was the one who was. My poor victim lol I kept having her re-cut and re-shape it I felt. Like I was bugging her but she’s soo darn sweet she totally took the time (however long that potentially could be) to make sure I left happy. Which now I am. It's hard for me to explain, you have to experience the most horrible handle situation, we know that teeth pulling anit like the rides at Disneyland, there is going to be pain with teeth pulling. Begged the densist three times'stop, I don't want to do this ' second time I told her stop she said 'why stop now, we are half way threw.' Posted On: 04/30/2025 I had a really positive experience at my dental appointment. Everyone was so gentle and kind, but I'm really frustrated with the aftercare. I've been calling for to get my pain medication prescription for my wisdom teeth, and they either hang up or tell me to wait until the end of the day. Posted On: 02/20/2025 Do not recommend. My daughter went to this office for her wisdom teeth removal. She was seen mid morning on a Friday. She was given nitrous to help calm her. Then almost immediately they started giving her the 12 injections with no numbing paste. Which was extremely painful and uncomfortable. The visit went mostly smoothly however the after care was terrible. I was told her prescription would be sent to the pharmacy for us to pick up once we returned to our home town. We double checked the pharmacy info was correct. Our drive home took a few hours. Upon arriving at the pharmacy I was told they hadn't received any medications for her yet. I immediately called the office to find out they had closed at 3, it was 3:25. I left a message on the emergency line. I was hoping this would result in a call back from the doctor or office manager and meds being sent, but we received nothing. I then had to take my daughter to the ER to get her pain meds as she was downright miserable at this point. It wasn't until Sunday that we got a auto call from the pharmacy that her meds were ready. Since it was a Sunday we weren't actually able to get anything until Monday. Once we were actually able to get her medication I was surprised it was not just pain meds but it was 4 items total! An antibiotic, a steroid for swelling, an oral rinse and Motrin (totally inadequate for the procedure) . I never received a call from the office checking in on my daughter or letting us know what the issue was. I called to speak with them regarding everything that happened, was told the manager would be calling me back as she was busy. Tomorrow will be a week and we still have not heard from them. Second visit with new insurance. I called insurance and gave them this address (Smile Country Napa) to verify they were in the network. They said yes. I also saw a logo on the smile country website showing they accepted my new insurance.

However, when the actual bill came, they said I visited some contractor that works for some other doctor than Smile Country Dental, so I got stuck with the bill.

That sucks. But since my insurance doesn't work here (despite what everyone says), I won't be coming back. Tim S website Logo Google Review

Thank you so much. I avoid the dentist at all cost. Everyone made me feel welcomed and very comfortable. I will definitely be returning. Very friendly and experienced staff. Everyone there are very caring and gentle with fast appointment scheduling. I have been to many bad dentists before. I'm so glad I found this place! They also have a discount program if you have no dental insurance! I've already referred 3 people who will be making appointments, I believe one is there as we speak! It was actually FUN going to the dentist! I had no anxiety, no pain, and no problems! Best experience with DDS ever! I had a broken tooth requiring a crown. The process took two appointments - the first appointment I was fitted with a temp crown, the second appt the temp crown was replaced with a permanent. Both appts were great, the dentist and tech were super. My orthodontist is special. She conducts herself with charm and friendliness that are such reassuring traits helping me relax and be fully comfortable in her care. I trust her professional knowledge and skills without reservation. I am so very pleased that she is my orthodontist.
